I have been caring for pets since I
was 12 years old. My mom’s employer’s dog had a serious flea allergy, which I treated. The condition had cleared
by the time the owner returned.
I’ve been a lifelong pet guardian of dogs and cats. Most recently, I have
been the guardian of two Bullmastiffs, a Boxer and six cats.
I am a resident of Lane County
and am currently employed by Willamette Animal Guild Spay Neuter Clinic as a veterinary assistant. I have also held employment
at pet boarding facilities, veterinarian clinics as an assistant in the kennel and office. Most recently I was the office
manager at a weekly newspaper in Junction City. Prior to moving here I resided in the San Francisco
Bay Area, where the S.F. SPCA employed me as an Animal Care Attendant in the Community Veterinary Services, Inpatient Department.
I also volunteered with the SF SPCA Hearing Dog and Feral Cat Programs.
I currently volunteer with Pro-Bone-O and
Save the Pets. I served as the clinic coordinator with the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon from 2002 to 2006. I was also appointed
as a citizen member of the Save Adoptable Animals Task force in 2007. References Available Upon Request
